WE SHINE THE SPOTLIGHT ON THE BORDER GUIDE FOOT.

BORDER GUIDE FOOT: mark the fabric and ride the red mark in the center of the foot along the marked line for perfectly straight stitching.

This must surely be one of my all time favourite feet!! For those of you who know me well, it will come as no surprize……….seeing as I have this ongoing love-affair with ELNA sewing machine decorative stitches!. The BORDER GUIDE FOOT  allows me to sew multiple rows of decorative stitches all beautifully lined up. All I need to do is mark the fabric for the first row. THEREAFTER THE FOOT DOES IT ALL FOR ME!!!

LITTLE CURVED TOP ZIPPER BAGGIE EMBELLISHED WITH ROWS OF DECORATIVE STITCHES USING THE BORDER GUIDE FOOT

The BORDER GUIDE FOOT is available for 7mm machines.

No more hassling with trying desperately to sew in straight lines……..the Border Guide foot is your BEST friend for this task. Follow the easy instructions on the blister pack when you purchase this great optional accessory + REFER TO MY STEP-BY-STEP PICS BELOW.

Please note that this foot does come standard with the ELNA EXCELLENCE 740. If you are the lucky owner of this ELNA sewing machine, you already own this foot! For all other ELNA  sewing machines, it is an optional accesory. I would be really mad with myself if I misplaced this foot………I use it THAT often.

Please refer to the link above for the applicable parts #’s for the 7mm.

For row 2, simply line up row 1 between the 2 red lines on one side of the foot. Repeat on the other side of the foot for row3…..and so on.
TO DO THE IN BETWEEN ROWS, LINE UP THE 2 ROWS ALREADY STITCHED BETWEEN THE 2 INNER RED LINES.
VOILA!!! LOOK AT THE PRETTY THINGS YOU CAN CREATE: THINK ABOUT THE BEAUTIFUL BRAIDS & STRIPS OF HEIRLOOM EMBROIDERIES (like Swiss embroidered insertion lace) YOU CAN RUSTLE UP WITH THIS FOOT…….and for a fraction of the cost of some of these braids & lace + you had all that playtime at your ELNA sewing machine!

Remember to use the MIRROR IMAGE  function for some of the decorative rows if applicable.
